#1. Tap-to-dial
You save up to one minute by having contacts in your office phone and just tapping to dial. If you make 15 calls per day, you save 15 minutes per day. For a $120,000 per year executive or lawyer, you save 55 hours per year or $3,750 per year, covering the cost of the Glass IP phone 7 times over.
#2 Time billing without pain or lost revenue
By integrating with the top three law office management systems, the Cloud office phone can reduce the pain of record keeping while eliminating most lost billings. Upon completion of a call with a law office client, the phone asks if you want to update this client’s record. If you tap the “Yes” button, that record will open on your PC for you to update. The record will be automatically time, date, and duration stamped. This feature will be available in soon.
#3 Tap to order FedEx or UPS pickup
By tapping on the FedEx or UPS pickup icon, the Glass IP phone sends a text message saving up to 5 minutes on hold and lots of hassles. I just tried calling FedEx; the voicemail alone drove me nuts. We even automatically enter your address and, if you want, your FedEx account number for you. Remember your desk phone already knows your name and address, why not use it.
#4 Instant screen sharing
Tapping one button instantly puts your PC screen on a secure webpage so others can see your presentation, look at a diagram or a spreadsheet. Anything displayed on your computer can be shown to others. All the viewer needs is a browser and a password. No need to schedule a conference room, email or upload your data, or wait to discuss. Decisions can be made and communicated faster. When you hang up, screen sharing terminates.
#5 Salesforce data before you answer
By displaying caller data directly from salesforce.com or other CRM system, you can better handle the call. You instantly see the status of the account, any outstanding quotes, or next actions. Calls can be handled on the spot with no need to research and play phone tag. Improved service for your customers and more time for you.
#6 Order a taxi or car service without listening to horrible music for 5 minutes
Just by tapping on the taxi icon, the Glass IP phone can send a data message to the taxi/car service with your name and address. The service can send a data message back confirming pickup. You can even see a mashup on Google maps and watch the taxi come to your office.
#7 Tap-to-dial from a webpage
When you need to call a company, you can now go to their webpage and just tap on the phone number. The Glass IP phone will dial it. You can also tap to dial out of email or your outlook contacts. This feature will be available soon.
