Management Team


Our team of entrepreneurs has built five startups to over $1B in combined annual revenue. This experienced team is led by:

Anthony Gioeli, President and CEO. Before joining Cloud Telecomputers, Anthony was the EVP, Sales and Marketing at PanTerra Networks, a leading provider of cloud unified communications. His extensive management experience spans several CEO roles at successful ventures including Atrua Technologies, provider of fingerprint solutions to the mobile phone market and AirPrime, Inc., a leading provider of CDMA modules to the PC and PDA markets. Previously, Anthony served as VP of Xircom’s worldwide OEM business. There, he established and grew Xircom’s OEM sales to more than a $200 million by creating partnerships with leading notebook PC vendors, including Compaq, Dell, HP, IBM and Toshiba.

Anthony began his career at AT&T and later held senior management positions at Compaq. He holds a BSEE from New York Institute of Technology and an MBA in finance from the University of Southern California.

Cheryln Chin, VP Marketing. As the former Vice President of Smartphone Product Management at Motorola, she led the team who launched the first Droid phones built on Google’s Android platform. She brings over 15 years of experience in the mobile handset and embedded software industries. Throughout her career, she has contributed to the success of market changing businesses including the Java platform at Sun Microsystems and Smartphones at Motorola. Cheryln brings an extensive track record of directing global product and go-to-market launch teams delivering several hundred million dollars of profits at leading product companies.

Ravin Suri, VP Engineering. Previously Founder & CTO of Doclinx, where he designed and built VoIP systems, large-scale business applications and internet server technologies for clients such as Boeing and McGraw-Hill. Ravin is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology and has a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Massachusetts.

Board of Directors


The Board includes a strong combination of successful investors and seasoned telecom executives, all of whom are investors in the company. The Board currently comprises four members:

Jim Willenborg, Founder and Co-chairman of Cloud Telecomputers, is a successful entrepreneur having founded two publicly-traded companies: Inmac, a $400M revenue business-to-business computer supplies and accessories company with operations in nine countries; and MySoftware Company, a retail publisher of business software.

Walter Kortschak, Co-chairman. Former Managing Partner of Summit Partners, a private equity and venture capital firm with $11 billion in capital that has invested in more than 300 companies. Walter has served as a director of 40 companies, including 20 public companies. For the last 6 years, he was voted one of the country’s 50 best VCs in the Forbes Midas List.

Robert C. Hagerty, former CEO of Polycom. Prior to Polycom, Mr. Hagerty served as President of Stylus Assets, Ltd. and held several key management positions with Logitech, Inc. Mr. Hagerty’s career history includes executive positions at Conner Peripherals, Signal Corporation’s Ampex subsidiary, and Digital Equipment Corporation. Other key Board of Director appointments in addition to Polycom include Palm Inc. and Modulus Video, Inc.

Bob Hawk, ex-President and CEO, U.S. West Multimedia Communications; member of boards of Covad, Pairgain and several other companies.

Patrick Gross, Co-Founder and Chairman of American Management Systems (AMS), a $1B NYSE firm; Director of numerous private and publicly-traded technology companies.

David McMorrow, Principal and Co-Founder of NuSpective Solutions. A telecommunications industry veteran, David was EVP & General Manager at Covad Communications for 10 years following various sales & marketing management positions at MFS/WorldCom and AT&T.
